My Work with Horses

Coming Soon

Working with horses I’m always looking to expand my knowledge and particularly in the field of equine massage therapy, I believe it’s important not only to have a good appreciation of horse anatomy in general terms and also in terms of the breed differences. That’s why I am so please to have been offered the chance to work with native horses in Andalusia.

In February 2007 I’ll be travelling to Southern Spain to provide massage therapy to Andalucian horses at a riding holiday centre located in the Mijas Mountain and Costa Area. More details of this wonderful place can be found at www.spirit-of-andalucia.co.uk

Testimonials

"Sophie is an enthusiastic, encouraging teacher who is very capable of teaching all ages and abilities. Her calming voice and fantastic knowledge of horses makes you feel very safe and your confidence flourishes and continues to grow every time she teaches. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons and my riding continues to improve every time Sophie teaches me. She's an excellent tutor who gives constructive, positive feedback, thankyou" Diana Bray

"Sophie has worked on both of my horses, one seemed to be very slow on his back end, like he had stiffness there and Sophie offered her help. I noticed the difference the next time I rode, and even just watching him walking, he started to stretch out more instead of having choppy strides. My other horse didn't seem to have a problem, but when I saw him flinching with discomfort at certain points I actually felt quite bad for not realising how uncomfortable he was. Sophie comes out on a regular basis as I have seen such a difference in my horses I don't want to stop the treatment on them. It has been hugely beneficial for both me, having peace of mind, and my horses." - Jodie S
